SNORKELING PHOTOS ARRIVED!

They came!  They came!  But where oh where are the pictures of the Manta Rays and all the gorgeous fish and coral we saw?  When we asked, they thought we wanted to book another snorkeling tour! 🤣🤣🤣  We’ll keep trying!  One BIG thing I forgot to mention yesterday, was that John and I spotted an OCTOPUS on the floor of the sea!  Its’ head was about as big as ours and we watched it creep along the bottom!  So cool!

You sure can’t tell, but we were swimming on top of the Rays right here!

These are two stock photos showing the kind of Rays we swam with and their size!

And here’s a UTube video (someone else’s) that shows the coral and the fish that we saw!  Hopefully, we’ll get some actual photos from our trip!

We spent most of the day catching up on bills, writing reviews, booking a trip to Ubud, reading while on a float in our pool, blah, blah, blah!  You get the picture!

When we finally left the villa to walk around a bit before dinner, we saw that Pootoo (the sweetheart that comes in and cleans for us EVERY OTHER DAY) had, once again, left offerings at our doorstep! She certainly watches out for us!

We LOVE what we see street side while walking along the Bali sidewalks (that are so narrow only one person can fit)! 🥴  Hindu temples and statues are EVERYWHERE!

And Absolute bottles filled with gasoline—now that’s a whole lotta vodka being used over here!

We had decided earlier that sushi sounded good, so we Googled “sushi near me,” found a restaurant with good reviews, and walked for about twenty minutes (and man, was it humid) until we arrived, only to find out it was NOT a sushi restaurant!  We walked back to a Mexican restaurant we had passed earlier!  It looked like FUN and was packed already!  (A good sign, considering tourism in Bali is down 70% right now.) 😥

We ordered drinks—my first Margarita in I don’t know how many months!  And was it ever GOOD!

John’s drink was a........

When I saw what the two girls sitting next to us ordered—Dragonfruit Margaritas, I was totally jelly! OMG, they looked AMAZING!  They were TOTAL YUM, the Aussie ladies assured us!

We had a wonderful dinner despite the fact it wasn’t sushi!

And then, finally and at long last, we both got our very first Balinese massage!  And we enjoyed every single sixty minutes of them!
