LET’S TAKE A WALK!

We LOVE walking the streets of Seminyak, Bali!  There are always cool things to see along the way! So this morning I quickly agreed when John said, “Let’s take a walk!”

We’ve read some travel blogs on Pinterest (thanks, Chloe) and found a darling restaurant we wanted to try, nestled smack dab in the middle of a rice paddy, called Nook.  We walked all the way there, slipping in and out of shops with air con along the way!  (It was HOT and HUMID today!)  The restaurant was adorable and even had a DOG to greet us as we entered!

So, we recently watched What The Health on Netflix (OMG), and this was John’s first plant based meal!  He has committed to give it a try for our remaining two weeks here in Bali!  His review of his first no meat meal: ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘!

The second place we wanted to try was a little off the beaten path spa called Sicilia Spa.  It looked so inviting online (and it was so humid outside) we decided to take a break from the heat and enjoy a mid-afternoon massage!  It took a bit, but we finally found it!

We each had the most relaxing massage EVER!  How can you beat this setting?

John and I both agreed, it was our FAVORITE massage EVER!  And all for a whopping $7.00 each!  Usually we like trying different places for our massages, but we both agreed—we WILL be back!

The Sicilia was located close to the beach, so John suggested we walk over to it and check it out!  We were so glad we did!  Right before sunset, stages were set up along beach where different bands performed!  The two guys that played in front of us WERE THE BEST!!!

It seemed JOANNE was right there with us enjoying the music!  ๐Ÿ’– CHEERS, JOANNE! ๐Ÿ’–

For a rather unplanned “Let’s take a walk” kind of day, it certainly proved to be quite SPECIAL!

Thanks, Sandy, for your recommendation to watch the movie, What The Health! Unbelievable! We think like you do—we’re following a PBD but will, on occasion, eat meat. Perhaps, one day, we will no longer even like it! That’s the plan, anyway!!!!
