BUSINESS AS USUAL IN BALI!

John and I spent a good part of the morning talking with friends and family and reading and watching news reports on the FRENZY that is happening in the United States right now.  Schools have closed; sporting events have been cancelled; grocery stores have massive out-of-stocks; the list goes on and on and on.  Meanwhile, here in Bali, it is business as usual.  When we are out and about no one here is wearing masks and there is absolutely no hint that the rest of the world is going crazy in response the Coronavirus.  It seems we are living in a bubble.

We are currently in the “wait and see” mode.  We are scheduled to begin the slow process of making our way back to Indiana on March 30.  We fly from Bali to Kuala Lumpur and overnight it there.  We then leave KL and head to Tawain, then to San Fran, then to Chicago, and finally arriving in Indianapolis on April 1st.  A lot of things could change by then...or not!

So, until the 30th, we are choosing to relax, send positive thoughts and prayers to all of you in the good old USA, and hope and pray the virus will lose its’ steam and plain and simply FIZZLE OUT.  (We know, we know, WISHFUL THINKING!)

That’s our story right now!  And we are planning to stick to it!

We chose to RELAX today poolside, as all that talk of the virus exhausted us!  🥴🥴🥴

And, yes, our evening ended with a delicious Indian dinner and a massage!!!
