SPA*SOCCER*SPA*SOCCER

Nansie had a WONDERFUL Girl’s Day Out planned for us today!  And the boys decided to watch a soccer game!  Hmmm, SPA*SOCCER*SPA*SOCCER....that’s a no brainer in my world!

The girls at Rene Cell were a delightful bunch!

And the facials (with surprises) that Nansie booked for us were just THAT!!!  They were FULL of surprises!  Val and I had NEVER experienced anything quite like it!  (AMAZING!)

After our TWO HOUR facial, we jumped into our Tuk Tuk and made our way over to Famous Hair and Nail Salon for manicures and pedicures!  (The day kept getting better and better!)

We were greeted at the door with this sign and a little makeshift stand holding hand sanitizer and a thermometer!  I don’t know WHAT I would have done if I was turned away!!!!  Luckily, all three of us passed muster!

Val and I walked into the salon with our hair sticking straight up (the facial included a head massage), asked to use some hair spray, and were promptly asked, “Are you two twins?”  I think they were mesmerized (appalled) by our hair sticking straight up!  Certainly not a style you see over here!

We all got into comfy salon chairs and had a great manicure and pedicure!  And you know how salons typically throw in an arm massage and foot massage?  Well, the massages we got there were THE.BEST.EVER!  I must admit, I kind of embarrassed myself with all the moaning that was coming out of my mouth!  I couldn’t help it!  My girls were unbelievably GOOD!

I didn’t think the day could get any better, but it certainly did when we got back to Steve and Nansie’s home.  BENTLEY was there!

The boys were home from their soccer game and when asked to see pictures...they had NONE!  Not one photo from their entire day together!  What’s up with THAT? 😳

We decided on a local Ethiopian restaurant called Sara, that Steve and Nansie LOVE, and shared a family meal of ABSOLUTE DELICIOUSNESS!

Sometimes you just have to step away from all the sightseeing and simply RELAX!  Well, we certainly had a RELAXING DAY!  Thanks, Nansie, for putting it all together for us!  Nothing beats a Girl’s Day Out!

And sometimes you just have to post a picture of your favorite girl, because your son sent you a picture that is OH SO CUTE (the dog—NOT the snow)!

Miss you, Shallie girl! 💖🐾💖
