PHNOM PENH STREET ART, NAGAWORLD, ET AL!

Oh, what a day!  John and I woke up with one thing on our minds: Phnom Penh’s Street Art!  Using ambiguous directions found online, taking many a wrong turn, and ending up in some questionable (but interesting) areas, WE FOUND SOME AMAZING ART!

But first, we went to church at St. Joseph’s!

We walked around the grounds trying to find the church, to no avail!  Luckily, a young lady tapped me on the shoulder and pointed to these steps!

Yup, it looked like we were heading up to another roof top bar, but it ended up being the church!  And this one had a little more recognizable mass than last week!

The priest and the congregation were delightful!  Our favorite thus far!

After mass we started our search in the Boeing Kak Lake area, Street 93...

...and finally near a (REMARKABLE) restaurant called ARTillery (where John had an unbelievable lunch!)

Talent is alive and well in Cambodia, right?  Next on the agenda was Nagaworld—Phenom Penh’s casino located downtown.  It blew us away!  Not only was it absolutely beautiful, John and I played Roulette for several hours and walked out with the same $20.00 we started with!  (Hey, big spenders!)

Before we knew it, it was time for dinner!  We had Friends The Restaurant on our list, as it takes at risk kids off the streets and trains them to cook and wait tables (and way more)!  It was wonderful!

I ordered what I THOUGHT was a salad, and ended up with this!  It may not have been what I thought it was, but was it ever GOOD!

John ordered a traditional Cambodian dish, Fish Amok (served over rice) and I had a delicious Snapper with a papaya relish!  (I took those little red peppers right off that dish just as fast as I could!)  YUM!

Twelve hours after leaving our condo to head out for the day, we had our massages!  They were well earned today!

Back in our condo, all jammied up, we received this photo!  Matt and Val are on their way to Cambodia!  Let the good times roll!  Safe travels, you two!
