OUR LAST DAY IN PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA!

Our favorite pictures from our last day in Phnom Penh, Cambodia!

Traveling around Phnom Penh, thanks to our Grab Tuk Tuk app, has been seamless.  Dangerously precarious, no doubt, but seamless!  The cost of rides here, however, is what is absolutely UNBELIEVABLE!  This is a screen shot of a few of our transports...

We woke up this morning to a text from Matt that read, “Just in case things don’t go well in Bali, Val photoshopped one picture so it’s just us!”

We followed Val’s lead (🤣 just in case 🤣) and did some photoshopping of our own!  Whew!  Now we have temple photos of just John and me!

We spent the morning doing laundry, packing, cleaning up our cute condo (we’re going to miss this place) and enjoying our last few hours at the pool!  And guess what?  The water was actually WARM for the first time since we arrived!  Made for the PERFECT last pool day!

And then, once all the humdrum was complete (NO, not pool time—the laundry, packing, cleaning), we met up with Matt, Val, Steve and Nansie on a BOAT, for a ride down the Tonle Sap and Mekong Rivers for a Mediterranean picnic dinnet!

But first, Val and Nansie filled us in on their day!  Apparently, Val took to the streets of Phnom Penh like a PRO!  (We can’t even IMAGINE driving on those roads! 😳)

Then they took on Central Market to do some last minute shopping.  Look at the GORGEOUS flower arrangements!

Now back to our boat adventure!  We boarded with our dinner and drinks and cruised down the river for two hours!  Even BENTLEY got to go!

Steve and Nancy said that the sunset was one of the best they had seen!

Thank you, Cambodia, (and Steve and Nansie) for making it a NIGHT TO REMEMBER!
