WE ARRIVED IN KUALA LUMPUR!
After three great flights, one from Indy to Chicago, one from Chicago to Tokyo (13.5 hours), and the final one from Tokyo to Kuala Lumpur (8 hours), we arrived safe and and sound! The KL airport is beautiful and the people are very helpful! We converted cash, got SIM cards for our phones, and purchased our wine maximum at Duty Free....two bottles! 🙄 No problemo!
We grabbed a taxi to the Movenpick Hotel near the airport and were in bed, sound asleep, by 2AM! This morning we caught our first glimpse of Kuala Lumpur outside our hotel window (well, MY first glimpse as John has been here several times in the past), and here it is.....

I think I’m going to like it here—feels kind of like we are back in Dubai! Jason and Chloe arrive this afternoon and after we pick them up at the airport we’ll all head to the condo that John and I will call “HOME” for the next month! And so the ADVENTURE begins!
BTW, Jason and Chloe arrived!
We made it to our condo, checked out the pool on the 37rh floor (picture above is from the pool),
and walked next door to the mall, picked up groceries and had a delightful dinner at The Boat Noodle! Did I mention that the total cost for the meal for the four of us was $15.00!?!
