THE PERFECT DAY IN KL!

The weather in KL has been delightful!  You would NEVER know it, however,  by looking at the forecast!

Seriously, we have not had a drop of rain until last night when we walked out from dinner and found the streets wet!  It’s been in the low 90’s, with lots of sunshine and blue skies!

First thing on the agenda was the Patronas Towers tour for Jason and Chloe.  John and I opted to wait until Jonathan arrives later in the month and to do it with him!  We arrived at the Mall a bit early, so we had time to walk around a bit!

Jason and Chloe LOVED the tour and took some awesome photos!  On a side note, they have both been in the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, and now they have been in the tallest twin tower in the world, the Petronas Tower in KL!

After their tour, my PERFECT DAY began when Chloe and I were dropped off at The Rub Bar for a 90 minute massage that John had given us for Christmas!  Thank you, John!  I loved every single solitary moment of the massage and let’s just say Chloe is a trooper!!!

After our massage, my PERFECT DAY continued when we joined John and Jas at our condo’s pool.

Our pool is pretty amazing and has an unbelievable view!

Soon it was time (Darn It!) to go in and get cleaned up for my PERFECT DAY’s dinner at Trip Advisor’s number one PEKING DUCK restaurant, Lai Po Heen, located in the beautiful Mandarin Oriental.

Our meal was magnificent!  When it came time to order dessert, John requested the Dorian.  Our waiter, however, talked him out of it saying, “It too stinky!  Will clear the room!”  So Chloe and John opted for a couple of mango desserts the waiter recommended.  When they brought them out, they also brought out a small plate of the Dorian for us to try!  First, the smell test.....

Then the tase test...

John, of course, had had it before and LOVED it.  Jas and Chloe thought it was TERRIBLE!  Everyone unanimously agreed that it stunk to high heaven!

And that concluded my definition of a PERFECT DAY in Kuala Lumpur!
