RAINED OUT!

We woke up this morning with 100% chance of rain ALL DAY LONG!  It was overcast, but dry as a bone!  John and Jonathan enjoyed breakfast with er, NOT one of John’s AMAZING Bloody Mary’s!  But hey, when in Rome...

We Grabbed it to Sungei Wang Mall, first and foremost, to get my hair cut.  And believe me when I say, I GOT MY HAIR CUT!  So much so, I doubt I will need another one until we return to the states in April! 😳😳😳  Jonathan ordered a new pair of glasses (have I mentioned how inexpensive they are here?) and chalked one more food off his list, Nasi Lemak Rendang!

  

In all the time we were at the mall, we didn’t have one drop of rain!  We raced home so the boys could have some pool time while I caught up with laundry. 

We met up a couple of hours later and enjoyed a wonderful Happy Hour while watching the movie, 1917.  It was overcast outside, but not one drop of rain had fallen!  We were already celebrating our luck!  Tonight’s Vespa Street Food Tour would go on without a hitch!

At about 6:30PM this happened.  Bummer.

And by the time we were supposed to be picked up by Vespas, the drivers called and cancelled due to weather!  Bummer!

We are so lucky that we have the Sunway Putra Mall next door.  We grabbed umbrellas and took off to partake in yet another marvelous Malay meal!  Jonathan enjoyed another Rendang—this time he ordered Rendang Daging Padang Asli and loved it!

Rain, rain, GO AWAY!  We have BIG PLANS for our last few days in KL!
