NAMASTE AND CENTRAL PARK IN KL!
Woke up a bit later this morning (5AM—baby steps, people!) and enjoyed coffee on the balcony while watching several groups of people doing Tai Chi near the Metro tracks!
From the Temple grounds, the KL skyline was beautiful!
Each of us went through this ritual to receive our fortunes. Everyone got a good one—except me!
John had fun in the gift shop while Chloe searched for treasures! He needed to be sent home immediately! First, for the inappropriate t-shirt he wore TO A TEMPLE, and then for THIS! 🙄
Perhaps Jason should be sent home as well! I found him DEEP IN THOUGHT 🙄 amongst these statues!
Chloe found her first “squatter” and took a picture for anyone who has never seen one! You are so very welcome!
Off for a tour of the Petronas Towers, only to find out they were SOLD OUT for the day! Bummer—but we purchased tickets for tomorrow!
We enjoyed a quick stroll through the attached mall before heading to Central Market! The Year of the Rat is being celebrated everywhere!
After a quick (and delicious AND CHEAP) lunch, we FINALLY went in for a foot and leg massage! If you can see the price in ringgets, divide it by FOUR! A one hour foot massage for only $13.00! OMG, it was FABULOUS! I was sooooo HAPPY when I walked out (like I had died and gone to heaven happy), that Jas and Chloe decided to give it try too!
Jason and Chloe....TORTURE CHAMBER WORTHY!
Ha, what do they know? While Jason and Chloe were being “brutalized”, John and I discovered the PERFECT store, where we found some essentials that we had been searching for all week: a funnel, cling wrap, cork screw, suntan lotion, paper cups, and a salt shaker. We felt like we hit the jackpot!
BTW, we all LOVED everything about Central Market!
It was a Namaste kind of morning, so our first stop was to the Wilayah Buddhist Temple. WOW! It was something else! Chloe was in hog heaven as she is very intrigued with Buddhism and has done a lot of reading about it.

John and I....ABSOLUTE UNADULTERATED BLISS!

This was the first day we got back to the condo early enough to relax a bit before dinner. And did THAT feel AMAZING! (And our happy hour glass of wine wasn’t too bad either!) After our wine glasses were empty, we all took a stroll next door to the Sunway Putra Mall to a Vietnamese Restaurant for a bowl of Pho....only to find it was no longer in said mall! Jas and Chloe voted unanimously to return to The Boat Noodle, where we ate on our first night. Once again, it was a MAGICAL FEAST!
After that magnificent meal, we loaded Jason up with water to carry back “home”. Bedtime was not so early this night! We are making progress!
