A LITTLE FARM ON THE HILL
Today was a very special day!

We were greeted with a welcome drink, which was a delicious lemongrass cooler. The open air room was absolutely breathtaking and the tables were set beautifully! We knew immediately that this was going to be something special!

There was no mention of A LITTLE FARM ON THE HILL anywhere on Trip Advisor. John just happened to find an article about it in Time Out Magazine and booked it for today’s lunch excursion.

Not knowing what to expect, other than we would be served lunch, we grabbed a Grab and off we went! The journey was about an hour long and up a winding, steep mountain road. Once we arrived, we quickly realized that there was NO WAY we were going to catch a Grab for the ride back down the mountain! We were told the lunch and tour would take about four hours! Here’s John negotiating with our driver! Luckily, he agreed to stay put the entire time we were there! (Thank Goodness!)

Before the meal was served, Pete Teo (owner, musician and filmmaker) came out and greeted his guests. His wife, Lisa Ngan, (co-owner, head chef and architect) was in the kitchen preparing our lunch.

We lucked out with a great group of people at our table. And the food....OHMYGOODNESS, the food! It was absolutely mouth watering DELICIOUS!
After we couldn’t eat another bite, Pete led us on a tour of their organic farm. WOW, what an AMAZING place. He told us that he and his wife bought the property five years ago with ABSOLUTELY NO knowledge of farming and ABSOLUTELY NO knowledge of cooking for large groups! He described himself as a “Google Farmer.”
What an amazing place with an equally amazing story! Before we left, Pete brought his wife, Lisa, out to meet us! THANK YOU, Pete and Lisa, for a memorable day on A LITTLE FARM ON THE HILL! We will never forget it!
